Drones provide a unique perspective. Birdeye views are now inexpensive and are regularly used for the surveying of crops, certain sports events*, and other applications like photographing shorelines (pictures above).
*Any flight executed directly above other people can be done so long as the subjects are participants in the video shoot. Filming above major stadiums during games, for example, is strictly prohibited by the FAA and local authorities.
